compliments to the chef...
yeah our 4x8 is set to rock it down in st. louis. plus dylan in the steeple and mitch in the 8 - actually i think the official entries come out today, if not already - but yeah, so 30 points could give us a shot at a top 5 finish.
I haven't added up all the potential points for the girls cause I don't have those kind of math skills, but I think they should have at least somewhat of a chance to bring home a team W. They're not doing a 4x4, but will still hold down the relays, and have very solid representation throughout all of the events. actually i think we have at least 1 girl in every track or jumping event except the 100, 100 hurdles, racewalk and polevault.
and i assume the ubc 4x8 is heading down as well yeah? should be a good trip boys, lets wrap it up nicely.

This will be the last NAIA National Championship for yours truly... so yeah, let's make it a good one. Can't believe Darkside put me on the early flight out of St. Louis on Sunday....... like it'll make a difference.

It'll make the difference between whether your lightweight ass vomits in the van ride to the airport... that's for sure. You give 4 years of blood sweat and tears to Darkside and she bohnsons you on the 6am flight.... that is brrruuutal.
Marek did the opposite for this guy. I'm out like four hours after you suckers. Like it.
Workouts were flying today.... bring on Edwardsville? I thought it was St. Louis but whatever.

..no it means Gant will carry on the true side of more legendary aspects of what SFU track is was really about.... and was 'blocked'..... reminds me of the time that a certain coach caught a certain SFU alumni at the 7-11 in youjean with a case of beer..... unlike my first trip with some other coach where there was about 15 pizzas stacked high, a garbage bag of pop and a garbage bag of a certain beer tasting substance.....those were the days.....thank god i ran well that day....

3 x a beaver with 8 minutes recovery.
Bomba for sure knows what that means... and I assume by now so does panty-gant.
LET 'ER RIIIP.
Say what you want about sandbagging workouts a week prior to but there's no carbon build up in this engine after yesterday. Hopefully I can make finals...

I can't help it, comments like "3 x a beaver...." make me laugh. No idea what it means.
Looks like the UBC girls could do some damage this year, especially if your marathoners/walkers score big. SFU women have a shot at winning it all, but we'll need everyone to place where they're currently ranked or better. UBC guys will probably score around 30 points, might be enough for a top 5, might not. SFU guys have 2 individuals and 1 relay going, so thats 30 points..... errr, no?
HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!

...3 x a beaver off 8mins.....that's not something i am privy too.... Gant SFU women have a chance to win???...don't you mean Ruky and a few distance runners have a chance to win......what's going to happen to the point totals when she grads? ?

I can't find my fockin' VISA... how am I gonna get duty free?
3 x a beaver means we get 3 x more tail than you socially retarded meatheads up there on the mountain of burnaby.
UBC girls will get 20 pts in racewalk... (as per usual, i will not comment on any track racing vaginal related)... Although I will say that I just saw Megan at Safeway and she mentioned that she dreamt of being DQd at NAIAs last night... so you never know. (we may only get ten?)
Airport at 4:30am tomorrow... this is ridic. I won't even finish work until like 11 tonight. FOCK.

Highlight has to be...
"Pretty close for the girls eh Darkside" - will "Ya, we just need some marathoners next year" - Darkside "Okay whatever, we just need a Ruki next year" - Stu All-Star - just to clarify, stu has never met britt before and was already in hysterics that I call btown darkside to her face as he thought it was a 'behind the back kinda thing' while ruki was beside her looking at the reeesults. stuart allestar everyone...
runner up has to be "holy f*ck, look at the f*cking whitest people in this bar" - mcisaac pointing to the frasers, dganty, mason and myself as onlookers are wondering why us losers dancing with some of the most eligible girls in the bar.... (because we know them, not cause we have game).
five nationals championships and that was by far the worst trip home ever.

"I only have my Visa, can I start a tab?" Will "Yeah, but its a $20 minimum." Bar-tender "Gimme 6 jager bombs. Done." Will
Another highlight for me was watching Mr. Stewart haul ass down the escalator 20 minutes late for his van ride to the airport looking decidedly haggard.

Unfortunately I have no trash talk to add to the conversation today just a bit of a shameless self promotion. I am racing in the U23 elite World triathlon Championships in Vancouver next Sunday June 8th. My race starts at 10:00 am and is followed by the elite mens and elite womens events. In my race its just Jordan Bryden and myself representing Canada so we are going to need a lot of crowd support. As RonB has already pointed out in countless threads the senior mens and womens teams both have some great athletes and are ready to rock so that is definately worth coming out to see.

holy f*ck i was excited seeing 'last post by MrSymonds'... you let me down. (not really)
I'm there for sure. What signs do you want me to make? should i bring my beer bong?
On the way home from NAIAs we had a U23 guy on our flight from Denver back to Van... he may have carried on two bike tires, but he sure as hell didn't carry both off... one down, 216 to go. See you then.

Man, this turned out to be a pretty great thread. And Trevor DID beat will at regionals. Way to go buddy! (see page 10)

I had to actually go look that up, as I didn't believe you...all I remember was having a horrible race. Apparently Will was anemic, so I'd have to say he at least has a good excuse (having since gone through a bout of anemia myself, I can sympathize). But yes, it was a good thread.

this one goes out to phoenixsfu... may he always remember...
looking at the last posts on this thread i quickly have memories rehashed in my brain of coming 96th at regionals, spending all my marek money (per diem at nats) on jager bombs at the worst dive bar in st. louis and almost throwing up on darkside as we landed in the denver airport.
thanks guys.
