Nicole was 9 seconds ahead of Tori Brent to win this race. However at a minor xc race recently Megan Remple beat Tori Brent by 63 seconds! Nicole may be hard pressed to run in the same league as Megan Remple.

Updated top 10 All-time for Colts Classic Meet. Compared to previous years the boys were very competitive but the girls were not as competitive. No midget or junior girl made the top 10 while only one girl barely sneaked on to the senior girl's list.

TISS invite results. www.ripnet.com/sites/tisspiratestcc/xc/results.htmThe Woodfine boy continues to impress. He's particularly strong on hills (cycling training?). But, junior girls, pay close attention to Regi's Clara Langley. She who won the senior girls race here (while training through, and deliberately waiting till the 10min mark to do any leading-- a very strong performance indeed). This comes after an effortless 40 sec junior girls win in season opener at Trinity. I don't normally do the prediction thing, particularly in the case of kids, but I can't imagine this girl not being a big factor at OFSAA this year.

For Midget Boys, It should be noted that Sameem Javeed did the medium loop (instead of the small), on the first lap, and had to make up 500m on the pack. He did end up working his way back up to second, but I'm sure if that had not have happened that he would have easily taken it.

No kidding Midget boys at Waterloo was a big mess-up today!!!! Actually I believe the 4 frontrunners ran further than the medium loop (part of the long loop) first time around. They all hoofed it from the end of the pack, then 3 of the 4 ran the short loop the second round with the lead runner being sent on the medium loop where the course was supposed to go, but a different loop than what they all ran the first time round...Confusing eh? ? As the lead runner an extra k. might make a difference in your placing. Let's get those race marshalls paying attention to the course.

And how hard would you rate that course? Number of hills? forest or fields? weather? (Cantara meet I'm referring too)

And how hard would you rate that course? Number of hills? forest or fields? weather? (Cantara meet I'm referring too) - last years xc course - "nothing but gentle inclines" a few repitions of roller coaster hills - weather was neutral.
