3. Stephen Hosier (Midget 3km Champ, Junior 3km Champ, 3rd As A Gr.11 In Senior 3km [Top Gr.11])
4. Andrew Degroot (7th Last Year)
5. Daryl Smith (8th Last Year)

Remember people these are entirely based on last years XC & Track performances!

I would add Jon Martin to this list from Cameron. He has come on strong this past summer and has handily beat Andrew Belanger in the past several races.

fair point, however don't take anything away from the up and coming runners. True, Andrew has been injured so perhaps I shouldn't have drawn the parallel. I could have stated it better by saying that there is another group of very talented runners in K/W who are beginning to make inroads, and they should also be considered. Jon Martin, Abdu Zaghlol, Jason Thorton, Andrew Martin, Andy Shields....

Shawn Masters will definitely be higher than 10th, id say at least top 5. I know u probly only have him there cuz u havent seen him race this year, but hes running really strong. Watch out for him.

I was at that race, and I can assure you there was absolutely no discrepancy with the first 30 runners. The results are as posted.

That said, there are many other races where the runners mentioned had very strong performances.

yeah most of the problems were from some random runners who cut across the course, but the top runners ran the full distance.
I also have to agree that the kw runners will for sure be ones to look out for and its going to be a great battle with those guys just to get out of cwossa,

I stand by my earlier comments that you will see any one of the top CWOSSA runners in the top 15 at OFSAA. They are, in no particular order, Jordan Collison, Jon Martin, Abdu Zaghlol and Andrew Belanger.

I realize i havent seen him race at all or have any idea what kind of shape hes in, but i noticed he wasnt in the ofsaa 3k and also some people were saying he was coming into this season having not done very much work and wont do as well. I of course have no idea if that's true

he didnt do the 3km cause he wanted to just stick to the 8 and 15. and not training in the summer too much isnt a bad thing at all.....

some of these juniors that have trained all summer like eamon may be tired because of non stop running where as masters may peak at the right time

I think that this years Juniors are so stacked if you dont come in having done a lot of work you wont do very well, but i dont know. I think its a good thing to not focus on the 3k early on in the high school years because it builds speed early on... anybody with me? or am i completely wrong haha

speed? wouldn't it build strength (endurance) of all things, since it is the longest high school track event. Also, i thought that would be a good thing? I was always under the conclusion that best thing is probably to not focus on any event in particular in the earlier years until you're more physically mature

for the jr. boys, i have seen Kyle Penney run and i think that he should be in the top 10 at OFSAA.
And for midget boys, Sacred Heart for the team win, they have two top 10 contenders and a top 20 contender and their 4th guy isn't weak.

Harrison def. a big contender but Chance has been away for a year, can he still crack top 5 who knows..his race on thursday(abbey park) will be a test to see where he's at.
