I think Tristan has a solid shot at winning, from what i know his 3k pb is better then most of the other senior runners, and he's proven he can run real distance, with a 14:40 5k and a 33min 10k, I think Xavier will have a break out year and come top 5 but other then that i dont think any 11's will come top ten.

Everyone is talking about the same top guys, but i think there will be some new people coming in to push them. I'll have to watch some race results.

Comes to show that theres always some serious improvement with certain people, and of course majority of the top guys will be back up to the top again ..

its a very vague way of calling himself for the win. Something like that is said every year, don't buy into it.

people will be severely disappointed with jr results when one particular individual shows up having done absolutely no work all summer. Are you talking about a specific individual? If so, don't leave us in suspense!

If so, don't leave us in suspense! i mean jr runners can still be at a stage where talent takes them further than work ethic, but i'm going to wait a few races before i call anyone out, out of respect to the athletes and coaches.

OFSAA XC 2009...well, well..
I admit there have been many accurate and well reasoned predictions laid out on this thread thus far, BUT all admitting one simple but profound individual... I mean, sure, any schmuck kid with a pair of white/gold rivals from running room could tell ya that names like Smith, Dillon, Woodfine, Esselink, Degroot, King, Denault, hosier, or devries ALL have a fighting chance for a medal...but here's where secret inside knowledge and a little deeper digging gets you- the medal that they will be fighting for won't be gold.
Ladies and Gentlemen hold on to your half tights and throw out your measly mileage logs -this years OFSAA XC gold medal is a LOCK IN. Ice baths won't heal the pain he'll bring...compression socks won't do either, you'll be needing deep tissue like its a fresh breath of Oxygen for the next month of your sad pathetic life. So just make a new thread and call in "second an on," 'cause gold has packed up its bags and its already gone.
All aboard the pain train...its Au(gold) to Zain.

yeah..I thought I would elaborate..since his presence really shouldn't be taken lightly.
I hear he set to run his off-day easy run this SAT in Guelph against the best of the best from the collegiate circuit...

Are you talking about a specific individual? If so, don't leave us in suspense! i mean jr runners can still be at a stage where talent takes them further than work ethic, but i'm going to wait a few races before i call anyone out, out of respect to the athletes and coaches. Now wait just a second. You have a stellar prediction on your hands, but you're going to wait until said event has already happened before you share it? If that is allowed, then I predict that one particular runner will have a breakout season, another will underperform, another will tragically succumb to injury, and another will be deported. I'm not going to identify these runners until my predictions have come true. You heard it here first.
