It is a thread on OFSAA XC not Sr Boys XC and to be honest I enjoy reading about all the age groups When I do the track rankings I do it for both boys and girls in all 3 age divisions and it does make watching the meets more interesting when you know more of the runners as well as what they are expected to do.

How about Alex Dufault as well? He came 4th at OFSAA cross last year and then was no where to be found at track, was he injured or simply didnt do track?

Yes, Thomas Devries has been running quite well this summer. Does anyone know where he was during OFSAA track??

i'm with limestonemiler on the sudenham debate, it's tough for ANYONE is eossaa to usurp KCVI and TISS domination. Not too often that they don't sent teams to ofsaa Could be different this year. In addition to the top Sydenham guys all looking strong, they have a pretty quick kid who just moved back to Canada from Europe (his mother is originally from Canada). Nuri Ekin ran 8:27 for 3,000m in a twilight meet earlier this summer and has been putting in some big miles since. My prediction is that it will be either TISS or KC watching from the sidelines. Should be interesting.

Thomas DeVries and Chris Balestrini, both from WOSSAA, battle it out all season and will both be in the top 10 at OFSAA, it not top 5

belanger is a definite dark horse especially since he had trouble qualifying last year due to the 2 ikrams and then had some injuries in track season. so if all goes well he should qualify easily since the cwossa senior race isn't as stacked as others and i wouldn't be surprised if he gets a medal. it wasn't entirely the ikrams that prevented Belanger from qualifying after the race x-rays showed he ran the race with a stress fracture in his foot, and thats what held him back, it wasn't fitness.

i didnt know belanger ran with that and it actually makes his race even more impressive seeing as he was only one spot out of qualifying for ofsaa and did it with that injury. was it that same injury that came up again during track?

Tristan for the win and Xavier/Robbie in the top 10. There's just way too many dominant grade 12's along with returning seniors to allow for this many gr. 11's in the top 10

Never bet against the gr. 10, 6"2, undefeated, 4 time ofsaa gold medalist. Just don't. Well now that the president of the kichuck fan club has spoken I guess that makes it final. I am neither a fan nor do I really care if he continues his dominance. I'm simply stating that given the accomplishments and times he posted last year, it would not be a wise decision to expect that he doesn't continue to dominate his division. Support whoever you want to, just my opinion guy.
