senior boys final predictions
1. Tristan Woodfine (this kid is just cold, enough said) 2. Daryl smith ( trys to hang on for dear lord but falls off of woodfine) 3. Andrew Degroot ( doesnt have enough to take the win) 4. Steve Hosier ( runs a smart race and finshes not too far off degoot) 5. Janikowsky ( this guy is tough, and will stay in the top pack throughout the race) 6. Kowlasky ( Massey's 2nd runner pulls in a nice solid effort) 7. Thomas Devries ( after winning all season, i could see him being right up there) 8. Xavier King ( this kid always peaks at the right time) 9. Jay Boychuk ( he hangs in right there with his teammate) 10. Ross Proudfoot ( after coming 12th last year, he'll make the top 10 this time around)
Honourable mentions: eric dillon, essenlink, jeremie bourget, denault, jeff stone, jeff archer, connor darlington, merid seleshi

cwossa had amazing races and upsets today. abdu zaghlol beat jordan collison in senior boys with andrew belanger third. im pretty sure cameron heights team didn't qualify because the twins have H1N1 so centre wellington won with saugeen second. junior boys gavin shields won't be at ofsaa because of a broken foot.

WOSSA Results: 1. Thomas Devries 2. Chris Balestrini 3. Paul LaMarra 4. Mackay Wilson 5. Max Holden
Teams: 1. St. Thomas Aquinas 2. St. Annes
Devries won by a long shot. Balestrini was ahead of LaMarra by a large gap. The next three were very close, with LaMarra having a ridiculous kick to edge out Wilson.
Teams were fairly close in points.

snr boys boychuk esslink darlington bierma (king is sick and didnt qualify) teams: MCVI and courtice snr girls hanna samyn mendes team: all saints and uxbridge? wheres eric dillon? Eric was ill but he has also been injured for some time now so i don't know if he would have ran anyways. There were so many people in the LOSSA region that were sick. I think i heard that in all of the races today 20-30% of the entrants didn't start or didn't finish.

If they did, then they better all get healthy for next week, because if they do they'll be almost guaranteed a medal now that Pickering didn't qualify.

By the way, for the Senior Girls results from Wossa the times are slow by 2 mins, so the winning time was 18:10 not 20:10 by Kirsten Allen.

I think you got the Junior Girls results wrong. I just checked the website, and these are the 3 girls that I saw: Stephanie Rigg Jaclyn White Shannen Murray I didn't specify, but both Steph Rigg and Shannen Murray qualified with their respectful teams, so the 3 individuals are not necessarily the top 3 finishers but the 3 qualifiers, (that goes for all ages).

another name to look out for is Joey Heartwell, i think he has a shot at breaking the top 10 and maybe the top 5 in the midget boys race
