I'm the hero this board deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So you'll hunt me, but I can take it. I am not your hero right now. I am just a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight. A sexy boy. that was a fucking gay response

While Jeremy DOES have an account and could post shit about his sub 4 mile attempt, i feel he is cleverly avoiding posting on this site right now (in case you hadn't noticed). Dealing with "the media" (for lack of a better word to describe it) is something good athletes need to do, and during this OFSAA season when everyone has very strong opinions about what jer can and can't do, it's wise for him to not get involved. If jer posted "oh im scratching the 8 because Im going to break 4 the next week" everyone would tear him apart, or at least he'd have people doubting him or, given the current trend on tnf, attacking him personally. I think he has more things to deal with right now, like preparing for his races, than wasting time posting. Shaun's just relaying some info from Jeremy, and trying to act in Jer's best interest, it doesn't have anything to do necessarily with him having a crush on rae (though I personally can't vouch whether he does or not )

Anybody know how the other 4 x 400 teams are shaping up for Friday night heats. Are any of them going to be totally fresh or do most of them have runners who will make finals on Friday. I know Courtice is going to be a little tired if both Tyler Leggo and Evan make finals on Friday, especially Evan who will run 1500m final only 45 min before the 4 x 400 ( assuming he makes it) and we're not sure he's even going to run it with the 3000 the next day.

no dropping out please; runners should scratch Before the race if they have doubts on whether they will finish or not.

no dropping out please; runners should scratch Before the race if they have doubts on whether they will finish or not. I believe the rule is that if you scratch one event at OFSAA, you are scratching from all events. There is no penalty in dropping an event prior to OFSAA (so they can fill your spot), and there is no penalty for starting and now finishing, but I dont't think you can just scratch without repercussions.

That's stupid. If some1 wants to drop out of a race, there definitely going to, even if it requires them to stand on the line and run 20m then drop. Might as well just let them scratch after the heats and save every1 time and effort and let the next fastest guy in the heats through.

Sorry for the confusion , I meant to say Evan may not run the 4 x 400 because the 3000 is the next day. He will be running the 15.

hbk is right... its funny how jeremy rae would be too busy to post stuff yet bisson has the time to tell the whole tnf community gleefully about every convo he has with him I was keeping off the boards before ofsaa because there were so many predictions and rumours and invalid-information being thrown around that i thought it was best I stay off tnf til post ofsaa. However, I'd like to clear a few things up: -Initial plans were to go to Portland and race there but after looking at flight costs for my dad it was going to be too expensive -Chicago was the backup plan- flights were much cheaper so we decided on going there -Things changed again today as now I've been okayed to run in the Festival of Excellence Elite mile this Thursday. Hopefully I can just hang on for the ride and see how close to 240 seconds I get And yes, once or twice I did tell Shaun to come on here and clear things up (regarding the location of my mile attempt) Id also like to say amazing races by tons of people this weekend.. notably RobbyD, JSmooth, Tony Romaniw, Makinde, Greg MacNeill, and last but not least BENOIT BOULAY!

I don't want to sound rude, but you haven't updated any of the 1500m or 800m following ofsaa

Some additions, when you have a chance
Junior Boys 1500m Patrick Hartman 4:13.36PB, at RCLDS #3: New Balance 1500m Night
Junior Boys 3000m 14th place is correct, but ran slightly faster at OFSAA (Aaron Hendrikx -->9:15.59) 15th place should read Pat Hartman or Patrick Hartman of St. Anne's, not Matt
