also, related to the junior boys 800m, i think we should consider grady van-pinxteren.. he was looking really strong at lossa and i spoke to him briefly after the race and he said he was taking it easy because of an I.t. band issue. he thinks he will go sub. 1:58 at centrals and possibly sub 1:53 at ofsaa.. grady for the win!!! If I could slap you, I would..

to the post above.. i also agree grady for the win his team-mate said he did a 1:56 time trial the other week.. dont doubt it the kids a beast.. Are you also Mr. Van Pinxteren? Or do you just make a habit of agreeing with him roughly 3 minutes after he makes outrageous claims? Seems fishy.

what was second place for sb 400 at ropssaa I know it was Joseph Triumbari from D'Youville, and it was a 50 point. Dominic Greco from Campion was 3rd. and Ray Cadeau from Mount Carmel was 4th

They have to be electric (or at least Pyro) to have .xx (hundredths) recorded in results. Anything else just says that the timing is a joke. Convention determines that hand-times ONLY be recorded in 10ths. Trackdatabase contravenes this convention so often that one isn't sure anymore which is real (electric) or not. One presumes that no wind-guage was utilized either, which means that the result is irrelevant for rankings purposes (WY) anyway. Maybe it's the same system used for Hamilton "Cities" - where a SG ran 11.46 in heats, 14.10 in the final, then ran 13.39 at SOSSA to not even qualify for Regionals!! That kind of inconsistency doesn't lead to confidence in the timing system. BTW, they are considering that performance for a CITY record??!! But then they also have girls 3000m records of 9.07(JG) and 9.15 (SG), on their lists - which would make them faster than the Canadian interscholastic records?!! Makes you wonder why they even bother with a records list if they are going to that stupid. I really don't see why wind-guages aren't used at ALL high school meets these days, especially when athletes might want the results for Rankings, etc. It wouldn't take much to teach some students to monitor it (although the units are costly) - seems to me like poor meet management when this is missing, as it's an important part of the "records" process. Then coaches and athletes wouldn't wonder why "good" performances are lost, or fast times (like at the Rowland meet!!) would be put in the proper context of the wind reading.

all i'm wondering is, since when does a 10.40 and a basically 23.00 add up? Who knows what the timing system was like....but i imagine that 3 rounds of 100's, a 4X100, and 3 rounds of 200's over 2 days would take a toll on a grade 10

well i observed the roppsaa junior boys 100m and 200m meter and i must say the times are legit. ropssaa in my opinion is the best region in sprinting. when the junior boys ran the final for the 100s the results guy messed up and didnt clock the time of the heat (which was really fast i clocked the winner at 10.4 but handtime is always off a bit). so they set them to run after da 1500s and let them run the finals over which was even faster (they mustve been really mad at the results guy who missed they're time) so they lashed out a 10.2 i clocked them and electronic got em at 10.4. and for the 200m, a 22 after all the 100s and 4x100m from day 1 and the 200m rounds is sharp in my opinion.

So were not talking about 1:53 but 1:52.) I will be completely amazed! IF said persons pb is 1:58.... +Couldnt resist the joke on TSN( practice, game, ect)
