2010 Ont HS Boys/Girls Spring/Summer Rankings

OK here we go again. The 2010 HS spring season is about to get started . I'll try to keep up with the meets as I find them on the Copps / Thousand Islands/COSSA/Track database / London Runner/ Ottawa Lions and Kennedy sites. If anyone has other sites that post results please pass them on. I've kept the rankings to the events I'm interested in 400/800/1500/3000/and Steeple.

This Year I've decided to start a little earlier and include all meets after March Break both indoor and outdoor. Ottawa schools tend to do their early meets in the Dome so I'm including them.

Please let me know of errors or any meets I miss.

Rankings will be based on times that would have made last years top 25-30 , those time standards are in brackets after each event.

At the bottom of the rankings list I will also post the links to the meet results

I hear you coolrunnings and I agree it would be great to include all results but I'm sure you can appreciate that it takes a great deal of time. I've never included indoor times in the past but as I said at the beginning, the schools from the Ottawa area seem to run their early season meets at the dome ( as I understand it the Terry Fox track is under construction) and since there aren't a lot of other ones at this time of year its not to hard to keep track of. Those that ran fast in early March indoors will, I'm sure, produce marks that will make the lists very soon.

I know the Ottawa marks will be better because of the windless indoor 400m track but I think we'd rather be aware of the times being run even if they are a little fast then not see them at all.

Its not a matter of them being legit times its more a matter of time looking up and posting results. For the purposes of these rankings they are spring/summer performances or POST March break.
