I think Eamon could get close enough (about 3:08 pace needed to get that) depending on the course who knows?

sameed javeed will definitely be a contender in MB undefeated so far and with a name like that dont bet against him Sameem Javeed for a medal in Midget Boys. The kid has style. Agreed

The hills down there are merely gentle inclines. I'd say Eammon could sub 20 without anyone pushing him.

I live in southern Ontario and I'm pretty sure that my idea of a hill is not merely a gentle incline, I doubt you've seen all the courses down here, especially the one in Windsor, or you wouldn't say that.

Midget boys... Absolutely Philip M., Jeremy C., and Sameem J. in the running for medals. Also some excellent other runners in the field with very competitive times! This midget boys group promises to be one of the best races to come with a deep field of hungry athletes. As we all know... different day, different course, peak performance...anyone could be within striking distance. A lot depends on development over the season at this age.

For junior boys I still think that you will probably see Matt Druken up there in the top 10. Zack Buchan also running well this fall. Both from GBSSA.

Im just saying that the past couple ofsaa's havent had any hills, the courses are just flat with one gentle incline that they call a hill. And im not saying thats true for every course down there but last year at sarnia they said there was some killer hill that turned out to be nothing. A "hill" and "hilly course" are relative terms.

Ok time to let you junior prognosticators in on what will really be happening I guess:
OFSAA Midget Boys 1. Ryan Sleiman (This boy will cruise to easy win ... huge margin of victory) 2. Philip Messina (he is a '95 correct?) 3. Adam Doxtator 4. Sameem Javeed
OFSAA Junior Boys 1.Eamonn Kichuk (easy win) 2.Gavin Shields 3. Abdi Jama 4. Chance Jones 5.Shawn Master 6.Brandon Kirkup
OFSAA Senior Boys (1st year seniors will rule the roost) 1. Tristan Woodfine (why are people not rating this chap ... he has run amazing times 8:27 3000m and 14:45 5k ... unless he is burned out from a long season) 2. Xavier King (Next to Tristan, X-Man has outstanding speed and endurance 3:56/7 1500m 8:33 3000m ... however it will be a close run with Hosier, Esselink and Dillon) 3. Steve Hosier (will give Xavier a great run ... a World Youth Champs competitor in 3000m ... 8:31) 4. Evan Esselink (Hello why have we forgotten this huge talent? 3:53 1500m .. also World Youth Champs competitor in 3000m) 5. Eric Dillon (trip to World Youth Champs will inspire him to greater things?) 6. Daryl Smith (how old is he? 19?) 7. Andrew Degroot 8. Connor Darlington (Connor has something to prove after a horrible track season due to injury) 9. Paul Janikowski 10. Ross Proudfoot (need some Northern Ontario content here ... could be break-out year 8:43 3000m pb I believe) 11. Andrew Kowalski 12. Jay Boychuk 13. Mohammed Soulieman 14. Kyle Grieve 15. Robert Denault
Updated for corrections provided by hmm... Thanks!
Boyd is a great course and should provide for excitement if it is setup like when it hosted previous OFSAA champs.

Tristan also ran a 14:45 not 14:20 or 30 for 5k, which is still very impressive.
