Name another meet where you are gonna find OFSAA's probable 1 and 3 as well as a couple guys in the top 15. Other than the big invites...it's a nice little meet with good competition atleast in senior boys, hardly a shitty race.

thanks blackjays, other than the fact that Hughes, Morrison, Berkis,Mayers,Nealon, and probably a few top 20 guys. Dwyer meet can kick anyother meets ass!! Dwyer meet is the way the XC should be raced....none of this flat golfcourse Bull@#$%!!! i really crosscountry race should be in the wood with lots of hill and maybe a few bears!! thats what XC is.... and thats the way it needs to stay!!
-(wouldnt you like to know!)

haha berkis wouldnt be smart enough to comment on his own racing. And p.s. last time i checked dwyer is the shittiest meet ever... sorry but we all know it would be a hughes show. and yeah so what if i am cheering for the underdogs..go irwin, go berkis top 10 boyssss oh yeah, last time i checked having hughes, berkis, morrison, meyer, nealon, irwin and juice in a race meant really bad quality not to mention jesse coote should have gone. look at the actual names and results, not just the meet name...dwyer had top front end talent. 7 top 20 contenders with jcootes making 8. your right that IS a shitty meet... also solid preds...good call on aurora high mb having a strong squad. robbie denault will battle darlington to the end making it an exciting battle at ofsaa...any other strong mb teams??

I'd say Jeremie Bourget MidgetBoys should be on your list (He won OTFA XC last year, and beat Darlington in MTA)

Updated with some addition to Eldridge and masc's points.. Remember its just a rough prediction list.. I will keep the races no more than 15 and no less than 10 by weeks end.

Dalrington, Bourget will be tight with denault 30- 40 seconds behind, I don't think aurora has a strong enough thrid and fourth to win teams but will contend for silver or bronze

Courtice Junior boys team will definatly not win ofsaa despite the fact that we added a new guy to the team who is running really well. Last years third guy however is not doing so well he is not training anywhere near what he should and is having asthma diffuculties. and evane will be running at pre ofsaa in fairly good form considering he missed two weeks with a twisted ankle.

Senior Girls: Add: Caitlyn Rennie (Mt.Carmel) (17.11 at McQuaid!!) Keesha Danso-Daapah (Gonzaga) (5th at OFSAA SG last year!!) Esther Vermeer (Smithville) (13th at Nationals last year) - won OFSAA JG two years ago.
Add Highland Snr Girls in the mix for a team medal - they won JG two years ago with the same team. They aren't as strong at the front as they were then, and might need some help from a another team faltering on the day.
MB: Highland will be in the hunt for a team medal.

Oliver FTW. Sacred Heart midget girls FTW. and under845, i like the sounds of Brigid Callaghan in the mix.
Senior boys... the spineless Rob Jackson for a medal... the guy will stop at nothing to get what he wants... backstabbing included.

im just wondering somethign about TISS. Nick Thomas is their 4th as far as i know. Isn't it true that if you transfer from one school to another, you get a year taken away from your eligibilty and you can't run for your new school that year? Didn't this happen to Trent?

Throw in Birchmount and SWC into that Senior Boys Teams Pred..I would put Markham in there but around 7-8 1-TISS 2-Massey 3-Dwyer 4-Aurora 5-SWC 6-Birchmount 7-MARKHAM 8-Michael Power

he moved (from Morrisburg to Brockville) Ya thanks for that....im still wondering about the eligibility rule. Is it only if you switch regions or something because i always thought transfering takes away a year of eligibility

Is it only if you switch regions or something because i always thought transfering takes away a year of eligibility Ok I thought that too.. but i was doing some research.. The point of this rule is to prevent runners from all going to the same school so we all can have good competition. And this rule does work.. But if a person needs to move because of a personal reason (Splitting of parents, New job forces parents to move, etc, then I think ( I may be wrong) A person can run the next year.. There are ways to get by with this you just have to appeal and hope that your excuse is reasonable .
