some nice runs by both Bairu, who was 4th(?) in his 5k in 14:00 at Iowa State, and also, Marcel Hewamudalige who ran 14:31 to finish second in the unseeded section of the 5k at Tyson by 1 second. Its been a while since Ive heard anything from him and its nice to know he's doin well.

Gillis ran a very smooth looking 8:11 in Boston today - lead the whole way. Also, Hortion went 14:23 in the 5bone.

Some nice 800's by the Toba boys down at Iowa State:
Jerema 1:53.45 Rug 1:55.61 Sheldon Kilcullen 1:55.94 Fletcher 1:59.60
...now if they can just put together a solid 4x800 race they'll be set.

Jessica Warren ran standard in the womens 1000m in Boston with a 2:53. She's a 4th year who won ofsaa cross when she was in grade 9. Ever since then she has been swimming instead of running.
Gillis looked very strong in the 3000m.
