Just wondering if any UVic, or Pac. Athletics are coming to the meet on Sunday. Specifically interested in mile and 3k entries...
SFU and UBC are going for sure.

I know we (UVic) are going, but not sure who is running what. There will likely be a couple guys in the 3k who ran the sunday meet two weeks ago, not sure about the mile... I would assume the Pacific Athletics group is going down as well, but I'm not too sure, someone else may have better info that I do

pacific athletics along with the vikes are racing this weekend.
however all of the p.a. group along with babiuk, kennedy, and saqui are racing on the saturday. so if you want to race babs in the mile you'll have to line up at the start line a day earlier than you planned.
all the other vikes will be racing the sunday, though no one of note is in the mile. roulston should run the 1000 if he's looking to race some vikes.

I thought that the meet on Saturday was limited to Pac-10 schools? I also heard that the "overflow" from saturdays race is going to be put into the sunday section. Both days should be good competition.

I think Saturday has standards. Something like 1:54 for the 800 and around 4:15-17ish for the mile (I forget exactly). This has been the case for all Saturday meets. The level of competition (i.e. the number of schools with really fast people) has risen over the course of the three meets. This meet is called the "Pac-10 Invitational" but I beleive if you're not in the conference you can enter if you have standards. Most of our guys (except the ones mentioned above) don't have standard so we are mostly going down on Sunday. Both races are generally decent though. I think the last sunday 800 was 1:56high and the mile was 4:26. Should be faster this weekend...
