Actually, got to talk to the super Mr. Woodfine after the race, and he was recovering from a cold all week. Plus, that was one of his last track races of the year as he is more focused on triathlons. Since he is more focused on triathlons I can't really see him doing workouts that focus on a 3000m track race. His race was a little disappointing for all of us who were only there to see Mr. Woodfine destroy everyone, like myself.

Enough already, What's with the constant ball riding on this site!.....Woodfine is a good runner but you don't have to come on here and make excuses from the guy. Get over your man crush on him, grow a pair and make a name for yourself.

Maybe I already have a name for myself, in fact I challenge the both of you to a race! If Woodfine is a "good runner" what does that make the rest of us who weren't able to win OFSAA XC in Grade 11? Did the two of you win OFSAA in grade 11? Probably not. Did either of you make OFSAA in Grade 11? Probably not.

Atleast one of the posters did make OFSAA in grade 11 and he has more OFSAA medals then Tristan!
I think what they're trying to say is that Tristan is an exceptionally good runner but not in a class above many of the others in that race. And if Tristan did not feel the need to make excuses or try to explain his bad race then maybe others shouldn't do it for him.
Also as good as he is I'm sure he hates the kind of god like status and worship some of the runners on this forum give him. When competitors start to give him unbeatable status like that then he already has you beat without even racing you.
