So its a long race, your running form (and you) are suffering....how do you 'right the ship'? What are the body checks that you do mid-race (or later) to correct your form, keep you going, etc.?

I would suggest doing the preparation before the long race and your body will be able to persevere.
You also need to define what you mean by long; are we talking 3k long, 1/2 marathon long, or marathon long?
The answer will change depending on what you mean by long.

I would define long as 1/2 marathon and up......which I assume for all has that time of suffering/loss of form that inhibits ability to perform...Spaff, I was hoping you would chime in with your thoughts!
