Thanks dd... some may not know that there are different time zones in Canada, outside of Ontario 11:30 am, Pacific time. Now I KNOW my veggie garden isn't happening today. Hopefully the Canucks, and the Suns, with Steve Nash, won't be on later in the day/evening, or I may never leave the couch, or the pub chair, as the case may be...

Fairly impressed with the CBC for airing world xc, but kind of annoyed that the full jr. races were not shown (missed lurking opportunities) ...

You are fortunate to have had televised coverage. There was nothing down here in Florida. Interesting note re: one of the US runners... Magdalena Lewy-Boulet ran very well at World X-C and then did a 4-minute marathon PR at Rotterdam. This is similar to Bill Rodgers coming in third at the 1975 World X-C hampionships and then winning his first Boston Marathon shorthly thereafter. There is something to be said about the toughness of cross country racing that translates to the track and roads.
