Does anyone know where you would be able to find world records for particular distances in each age category.
I'm actually just looking for the world record Mile time for a man 60-65. Thanks!

A record for the marathon starting at 5 years old?
And interesting to see that alot of those names never had much success as senior athletes...

...interesting to see that alot of those names never had much success as senior athletes... And yet, a lot of them are recognizable names also. In addition to Sully, I see Xavier Carter, Alan Webb, Jim Ryun, German Fernandez, Usain Bolt, Craig Virgin, Galen Rupp ... etc

2 interesting things:
1) With rare exeptions (X. Carter) the ones that seem to "last" are those who set the records at 16+ yo.
2) Where are all of the African countries? Surely those 3,5 and 10k lists would be obsolete if we include them?

Yeah but was has he done since?
The silence is deafining. If there ever was a poster boy for a washed up, burned out to early runner, it would be him!

Extensive data on road running records are shown on www.arrs.net. On age group records click on "single age records" also age group data by clicking on "Veterans all time rankings" The WMA site previously referred to is certainly accurate in the sense that the performances have been properly authenticated. It does suffer the defect that there is often a considerable delay before a record is posted. Also some probably legitimate performances never get posted as records because the proper authentication documents have never been submitted.
