Just saw this posted on the local running club (krra) website...
I am the race director for the 2010 FISU World University Cross Country Championships on Fort Henry Hill on Sunday April 11th, 2010. The website for the event is www.xc2010.com/
I am looking for volunteers to help with course marshaling, course set up and take down, and general race duties. In addition to these needs, the FISU XC 2010 committee is also looking for individuals to help with parking, at hotel and other event sites as well as other general duties.
I am particularly looking for set up / take down and marshals at this point.
If you are interested in volunteering please visit the volunteer registration page at www.xc2010.com/events/volunteers/ to fill out the registration form. Please indicate in the Other Information area what type of position you would like to volunteer for. All volunteers receive a commemorative race shirt and lunch on the day of the race. Volunteers for race setup and take down also get free entry to the event on Sunday April 11th.
