Don't know how many of you read Running Times magazine but there was lots of Canadian content in this months issue. 8 young runners to watch this season article included blurbs on Mohammed Ahmed and Kendra SchaafSteve Boyd (he of the All McDs is bad / alcohol OK for serious runners fame...LOL) gets best 5km age graded performance with his 15:37 runningtimes.com/Article.aspx?ArticleID=19006&PageNum=5SEVEN!!!!! page article on Ed Whitlock and his perspective on running and his 13 age group world records. THIS is a GREAT article. runningtimes.com/Article.aspx?ArticleID=18810

Unless the BMI discussion caused him to age 7-8 years overnight, they've made an error. They show his age as 55. His 15:37 is very impressive obviously, but I think the guy they've given the next two spots (Pete Magill) is his age (47-48, not 55), and he ran 14:49 and 15 flat in the same period.

That's based on a mistake in the results from Binghamton that was obviously never corrected. RT is annoying on this stuff. I win Boilermaker as a 45 year old and run 31mins for 10k and don't exist. Then I run my slowest 5k as a master by 15 secs and they recognize it, but list me as 55 years old! All of their masters stuff needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
And, coachc, you're a little behind with that reference of yours-- side-splittingly hiliarious though it may be. LOL indeed!
