i know Bomba will love this.
OFSAA is so popular it's getting mentioned at the Olympics. During tonight's game against Germany the commentators were mentioning a German player (TRIPP) who is Canadian but is playing for the Germans. They mentioned he is a former OFSAA track and field champion in the javelin...
GO OFSAA!!!!

Here is a quiz question:
Can anyone name the other OFSAA Javelin champion and professional hockey player?

They already gave you Tripp's name, and then asked who THE OTHER champ was.

That was old bones' question. IM named TRIPP in his original post. I don't know what it is, I'm curious, too.

Scott: does he even qualify as a pro? He plays for the Sens.

pffff.. the Olympics? they are nothing compared to OFSAA. In fact at the broadcasting of the OFSAA games, they should mention something about ..the Olympics? or whatever this is. Heres a better question. How many Olympians (past and present) have an OFSAA medal? obviously something more coveted than an Olympic medal.

Check the standings my friend... Scoreboard. My animosity runs deeper than scoreboards. Anyway, let me know when the Sens beat Toronto in a playoff series...

Let us know when the Leafs make the playoffs... hard to beat them if they are on the golf course!

Yeah it is easy to beat up on the Leafs. I don't really care. Ottawa is so easy to hate: Such rampant insecurity. Such a douchy captain. No history. Fickle fans (what is attendence like these days? Are we back on the bandwagon?) In fact, Ottawa fans over a certain age (you can't blame a kid who grew up knowing nothing else, I'll grant) are all by definition bandwagon hoppers.
I know you can probably refute my arguments. I don't care. I just have pure hate for that team. It's not even a grudging respect like I have for the Habs. Yes, their fans are probably more annoying (though less pathetic) than Sens fans, but they have great history. And despite their taunts of the Leafs, they also know the rivalry is real and deep. Ottawa is just crappy. Sorry. I just hate them.
