Hmmm.. I'll go out on a limb and say York will probably have at least one guy in the top three for the 60m!. I'm not going to make any real predictions, but the OUA is looking pretty good this year. The 600 especially has a lot of depth with 3 @ 1:18 and 9 under 1:22. Some discussion on CIS sport would be a good thing for this forum!

Great battles brewing in mens and womens 600,1000 and 1500. Will all the top seeds double and triple, or is anyone loading up for one major effort? Also the 4x800s have potential, although often times teams cannot run their A teams because of other events.

Some discussion on CIS sport would be a good thing for this forum! I disagree. I think it's good that by university, runners realize there's better uses for their time than losing hours to online forums. Before and after this time though is a whole different ball game.

I'll bite. Given that this is a track forum in need of posters, I think there's enough time for kids to post a bit about their sport. But it shouldn't be just the students themselves that post, but coaches, interested parties etc. Interest is low enough as it is; don't suggest that someone who actually cares not take the time to do so. Lets return to the real subject-what race are you looking forward to at OUs and CIS?

I'm really looking forward to the OUA men's 1500. Should be lots of fun with the Guelph and Windsor guys going at it again as well as some other notables looking to mix it up.
I love the 1k, but i'm not sure it will make it on my list of must see races at OUAs. Certainly the caliber of the cis 1km is going to be great with a tonne of autoquals and 5 guys in the Q going under 227 last weekend? Corbit, i hope you are ready to rock buddy.
I am also hoping to see 600 at OUAs. I'm cheering for gamble of course, but i think all the guys who have been running hot this season will show up there to try and impress.
I look forward to long jump (did windsor graduate CIS 1-5 last year?) and high jump (also with a few windsor grads leaving the competition open, right) Is Johnny Odemaru Jumping for York now?

At the OUA, it's the 60. Only one guy has CIS standard whereas every other event has like 4-6 guys with standard.
At the CIS, I'll jump to the other end and say the 3k. Some of the times out of the OUA are just unreal.

Does the CIS have anything similar to www.tfrrs.org/index.html where we can see all the auto and qualifying times ran thus far?

Does the CIS have anything similar to www.tfrrs.org/index.html where we can see all the auto and qualifying times ran thus far? You can find fairly up-to-date stats at www.sportingcanada.com/tf The rankings mark auto-quals with an asterisk beside the performance.
