We all feel your pain and frustration here, but do you really think it was necessary to take a crack at the university's admissions policies to make your point-- and in the title of a thread, no less?
Please tell us where you go to school, so that prospective students will know know how to avoid people with acute superiority complexes.

But do you have the results, I am looking forward to the relay results for the women.

No, I don't have the results, and if you wanted them you should have titled your thread "York Results?".
There are lots of jokes in the world, and we all like them; I just don't know why it would have occurred to you to make this one in this context. It's not the least bit clever, it doesn't make any sense, and it's potentially insulting, notwithstanding your disclaimer. Why would you assume anyone cares one way or another what your opinion of York is?

Well Oldster, "Why would you assume anyone cares one way or another what your opinion of York is?"
I would assume anyone posting in this thread would care.
Does anyone have the results yet?

I posted in this thread and I don't care what his opinion or York is, and I don't see what it has to do with the availability of not of some track results. Apparently, he agreed with me; hence, the change in the title of the thread.

I went to York and I still use that phrase. Chill out! Really! You must have been mildly intellectually delayed to have had to settle for York! Seriously, I love York and think it's adorable that all those kids who are the first in their working class and immigrant families to go to university think they can do it. Good for them!

Well Oldster, if you must know, I have degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Queen's, M.A. in Economics from York and an M.H.K. in Sport Administration from Ottawa, so you tell me how intellectually delayed you think I am.
