ya the legion sucks with posting info like starting lists Actually they're pretty good at posting performance lists once the entries have been finalized. www.on.legion.ca/youth/tf.aspclick on 2010 indoor performance lists. You can also find the indoor schedule and info about the outdoor meet on this site.

Question about seed times??? Are seed times supposed to be verified form previous meet performances? Thought so, but clearly many times on this performance list are not accurate. Just look back through AO results. Is it commonly acceptable to predict (or fudge) a faster seed time for better heat/lane placement?

District teams are picked for each age group per based on submitted times. Some are based on PBs and others on what the coach / athlete think they are capable of running. The times do not have to be verified for this meet but generally the faster people tend to end up in the fast section. It might not work out quite as well for sprint/ lane events.

Seed times are based on wishful thinking by coaches, just look at the U17 1500m seed times and what was actually ran. I have no idea why coaches would dissapoint the athletes this way when they clearly know what the kid is capable of running

I'm pretty sure the majority of the seed times were outdoor pbs at least mine was but its all just to make sure they get the faster heat.
