There, folks, is a fantastic coach (in case her results don't speak for themselves)-- a rare instance where the coach may be actually be contributing more than the standard 10%

Any coach of female distance athletes, from high school to the Olympics, and every step in between, needs to be very aware of the various psycho-social factors that can, and often do, contribute to an unhealthy relationship with running and nutrition and weight. Actually, "born-again" female runners of all ages can easily fall prey to the issues surrounding body-image, weight loss, etc...

Very powerful arguments for fueling in a healthy and effective way for performance, and becoming lean through training, not restricting calories.
