He must have just had a bad race, never thought I would see the day where bekele doesn't medal, the only reason I say that is because he is undefeated in many races and has won many.

...never thought I would see the day where bekele doesn't medal So were you planning on passing away in the next 10 years? Or rather did you expect good ole' Kenenisa to continue churning out sub 13 performances until his early 70s?

I am assuming he meant while Bekele is still so dominate, especially in XC.

But I hear the Chinese are also deciphering Grant's words in order to draw possible conclusions to why world's climate is changing.

I'm only 15 and not planning on dieing , I am just saying that bekele is an amazing athlete , and he is still at an age where he has very good performance

ok, forget about all the arguing, the point is that bekele got beaten in JANUARY. it's not a big deal. These are accomplished runners (maybe not in comparison to him, but very good nonetheless), he wasn't in great shape, and it appears as if he suffered more from the bad weather conditions. However, you must still give the other runner's credit for capitalizing on this opportunity.

I think Bekele getting beat while in a drunken mess on New Years Eve in a three legged race would be somewhat newsworthy;)

I'm pretty sure you could take him with your two good legs Haller.

Earlier Bekele stated his goal is Komen's 3000m WR. Maybe he's doing too much speed work to run a successful (in Bekele terms) 9km.
