Former Mustang and Lancer Athlete Stu McGregor Finished 5th in the 400m in Athens yesterday, running 51.02 and just missing the podium by less than 2 tenths of a second. Thought we should all send him a big congrats and tune in for his best event, the 800m on Monday. WAY TO GO STU!

Thanks for the post. I am here in Athens and am officially done. Last night I won bronze in the 800m final. It was a kickers duel, as we crawled out in 61, but came back in 55. A New Zealander kicked from the bell, and I went with him. A gutless Brazilian came out of nowhere and outleaned me. That's okay though. I ran to win, and gave it my all...the Brazilian who was nowhere with 200m to go came on, and nipped me at the line after he saw me tieing up "what was he saving?" Thanks to the Mustangs and Lancers out there! I now cheer for both of you! Stu.

Have you not learned anything from me Stu. Running a 26 in the first 200m would have taken the kick out of the kickers. When will you learn?

Great racing Stu! Congrats on the 800m medal and running a blazing 400, hope you're having a blast out there.
I'm going to stir the pot a bit here...Is Yuri Borzakofsky gutless for running a more even paced 800?

Of all people I sure hope this isn't Chris Smith of UWO trying to give me race advice. I smoked your 600m PB 2x on solo training sessions against the wind leading up to the Games in Athens! If I'm learning from UWO, its from Shultz, Lander, and Gibbons.
