They are still speculating in our local paper as recently as this morning: www.brantfordexpositor.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2230301Obviously the people in charge of this want to hype it as much as they can. Note the fact detailed in the article that it is going through the site of the source of local native land claims.

Re the land claim, this is reasonably funny-article just posted a while ago: "As opposed to the original route for the relay, which would have seen the torch travel down Chiefswood Road, Ohsweken's main artery, the entire event will now be held at the Six Nations Bingo Hall and the relay will take place in the parking lot." www.brantnews.com/news.cfm?page=news§ion=read&articleId=6304Looks like preparations for an outdoor concert going on across the street-trucks and equipment galore. Music has been blaring all afternoon too.

Sully it was and it was actually quite the party. Nice ! Thanks for the update, SI, and congratulations, Sully. Carolyn Murray, International Triathlete (and damn fine runner) carried the torch through the little village of Cowichan Bay, many weeks ago, and there was a very nice gathering of folks to cheer the flame onwards...
