Great to have a message board. As with many, I am cool with having ads to pay the way...but REALLY...an ad for fake cigarettes? Now I can smoke anywhere?
Are we that hard up for ad revenues that we would sell ad space to a manufacturer of fake cigarettes on a track and field message board???
What is next?

Every time I hear about something "selling out" a little part of my soul dies inside... Although I'm (clearly) not an admin, I assume that since this forum is part of a larger webpage, it is probably a "free" website (in the sense that the administrator doesn't pay a monthly fee for the space). The host, being a company, wants to make money, and does this by putting adverts on the free sites. If this is the case, the administrators of this specific page do not have much control over this. Either way, do would you want to have to pay a monthly fee to use this site? Thought not. If you're still mad, think about TV. You PAY for TV stations and you STILL have to watch ads which INTERRUPT the content you're trying to watch. The internet you probably (unless you live in Waterloo or are bumming someone's wireless) pay for, but you can access any number of sites, and the ads don't (on this site) interrupt you from viewing the content. They are small, ignorable and keep the site free. I'm going to be good and avoid going into a very long rant this...

Hmmm, I count about 4 posts in the last 3 days for you. That's 4/24= 17% of your last 3+ years on TnF, posted very resently. This one you seem a little irritated! Is that couch getting uncomfortable? You should be in good spirits & seeking out your most patient inner being...hope all went & is well.

by the looks of the link at the bottom of the page you could pay to make the board ad-free.
I dont have any problem ignoring the ads but if it bothers you that much there is a solution.

There should be at least three threads either directly or indirectly mentioning ROPSAA runners by now. Get right on that Rismay- the lack of such intriguing topics where you can exhibit your ever-insightful logic is radiculous to say the least.

Easy kids, be nice. Not everyone knows ALL ABOUT Google ad program. This started with 1 simple question. It is all the so-called people-in-the-know who have made this into a thread.

Can't seem to go a week without being enticed into purchasing another one of my own cheap Southern Asia labour forces to mass produce any goods I need.

Molt's can filter ads, I run over 200 websites and have adwords on about 1/4 of the sites and I can filter out ads that dont reflect the domain -
