R.S. McLaughlin won the team category in senior boys hands down and brown didnt even finish...........if they can win a meet without their top guy then they should be the team to beat

The race went: 1)Marcus dillon 2)Ryan Finn 3)Michael Anderson 4)Matt Hulse 5)Matt Brunstring 6)Joe Brunstring 7)Matt Bruce
I know the top 3 for sure and I am pretty sure about the others.

My boys, I like what I'm hearing, hopefully Rob isn't injured. If not that is going to be an awesome team. GO MCVI GO.

Is that the same course used for the OFSAA 2002 meet? I think Hortian ran like 21 flat on that course.

This year's times are slower but the course is a bit longer. They added a section to the flat part which has to be run a couple of times. Also, you can't compare a very early run to a former OFSAA final, that had a stacked field. Of course it seems slower. By the time OFSAA roles around these guys will be running a minute faster as well. You'll see. Also you might want to note that many of the guys you are looking at (Hortian & Loiselle for example) were in OAC when they ran those times. No more OAC should mean slower times!

What has happened to high shcool running
I am sorry, I hope the 3 medailist at Sr. boys ofsaa were not in that race none of those runners would have made top 20 at ofsaa in Hortian's/Benniger year and that was a windy day when hortian won that race. I doubt any of those kids will come top 15 at jr. nats with the guys out west and the Univ. kids. All the runners out there who did not race... you have great chances cause that field suck it up!

you guys dont even know what you are talking about, like someone has already said, it was the first race of the year for those guys, none of them are in peak shape or even close to it. the track times that some of these guys have run prove that it is no easy year. not to mention it was 31 degrees outside. Also if this race was run in another month at ofsaa time. All the times would be a minute faster because the guys will be in better shape. If anything, this year could be faster then the hortian benninger year.

like the other guy said, that course was extended this year as there was no way it was proper distance in '02. that dillon must be lookign real good to fall and get back up and win. also mcglaughlins gonna have to run their worst race ever to not win at ofsaa. 38 points at a meet like that without multi-medalist Brown? they are sick
