For the past few weeks we've been hearing about how OFSAA athletes have been getting hammered by the flu bug. How are CIS teams doing heading into Kingston this weekend? Guess flu season is part of the beast of XC being a fall sport. Last year it was 3 colds in the last two months of the season for myself. Here's to hoping we get as deep of a field as everyone expects.

There was an article in the Chronically Horrid today about the top 5 X guys having the flu. Doesn't look good for them.

For those unfamiliar with that fine publication, here's a link: thechronicleherald.ca/Sports/1152276.html"X head coach Bernie Chisholm said five male runners and three females were bed-ridden last week with various forms of the illness, including three with the H1N1 virus. Most of them were back on their feet by Tuesday, but barely." [...] "We’d had a very good year up to this point," Chisholm said..."We were looking forward to the challenge of the CIS (championships) but we’re still not going to make any excuses...We’re still hoping for the best."
