OTFA Cross Country
Brutally hilly course. Times were naturally quite slow in all races. Nakluski and Hortian ran together until 8-9km when Nakluski pulled away after a large hill. Finn made a bit more headway later into the race on the top 2, but was a fair ways behind most of the race. 4 and 5 were spread out.
Senior Men (10,017m) top 5
1. Derek Nakluski 2. Adam Hortian 3. Ryan Finn 4. Robert Kitz? 5. Matt Lincoln

Matt Lincoln 9. Rejean Chiasson 10.Kyle Smith Although for some reason they had Toby as Paul Chafe (not even the same club, he didn't even race -- not sure how that happened). Full Results are here.

Cambridge Harriers scorers of the winning junior boys team included three youths (Jon Martin 4th, Jason Thornton 6th, Andrew Martin 13th) and one junior (Kevin Medeiros 17th). Thornton is a cyclist who has been running semi-seriously for only three months.

sleiman's second as a first year midget was impressive, only 8 seconds back of kichuck. noble and especially druken redeemed themselves after ofsaa, with an impressive 9th and 3rd respectively. kichuck wins. again. huge surprise.
and hosier sure had a great run in youth

900m left it was abdi, harrison, chance and shawn, they were in a group of 4 with the next person behind them around 8 seconds behind them, it came to a small hill and chance, shawn, and abdi all tripped over eachother, leaving harrison for the win, while they were all on the ground they were passed by ryan and matt druken shawn and chance got up to finish the race, but abdi looked hurt and dropped out.

Thomas DeVries came out and let everyone know he is still a force. 1 second out of winning the strong Junior Boys' race.
Ryan Sleiman was in the lead but made a wrong turn with 1km to go, finished second.
Joanna Brown killed.
Steph Rigg was winning by a landslide but sprained her ankle pretty bad.
The course was a slow one, the footing was really lousy imo.

nope that was harrison who broke away when the 3 others tripped, ryan just passed them while they were down, same with matt druken, then chance and shawn got up, and abdi dropped out
