Unfortunately, it will not be in Guelph this year, we had hoped to host it the day after CIS to have a Cross-country weekend and really make it something cool along with the fact the course will all ready be set up and booked. But the higher ups wanted it a week later so I guess they will try to find a new location.

September 22, 2004 - 2004 Ontario Cross Country Championships to be held in Pickering. We are pleased to announce that Durham Dragons and Pickering have been selected as the site for the 2004 Ontario Cross Country Championships. The original site was Guelph. Thanks to the other bid groups, in particular, Woodstock, for their offers to take on the meet on very short notice. The meet information package will go out in the OTFA October Newsletter and should soon be available on this website.

when is it? A date would be very helpful when promoting a race...

Probably or actually, almost definately the same date as before. Its Sunday the 21st I would guess. OTFA's have always been two weeks after OFSAA on the Sunday.

maybe I don't plan my season in reference to the all mighty OFSAA! Maybe OFSAA is two weeks before OTFA's???

Is the course in Pickering the same one they use for LOSSA behind Pine Ridge. If it is I truly feel sorry for the Senior Guys. You'll have to run about 8 loops of a shitty course.

Otfa's tends to move around it is normally 2 weeks before Nats, some times that is the week after OFSAA other times it is 2 weeks, with Nats being moved back it will likely be the 3rd weekend in November most of the time now.

hey guys
if chris in his earlier post said it was a week after CIS then wouldn't that make it on the 20th of november? not sure if that is how it works but it seems logical to me

maybe they didn't know when CIS was or Chris' post wasn't official as he still didn't know the location at that time...

...it can't be too logical because the date is the 21st, not the 20th.

Sorry i was just going on what was said saying how it was a week later, and a week later was the 20th not the 21st. I forgot about how it was always on a sunday, still an honest effort i would say!
