That was a great time he ran on Sunday. It was not ideal conditions - quite windy actually. I am impressed with his progress from Ottawa at the end of May, where he ran a great debut marathon. He obviously is on his way up, good luck to him in Chicago if he is running it in October? (Any other CDNs?) I would venture based on his half in Philly, that he has the potential to go sub-2:15 in his next marathon. I wonder what the standard will be for World's next year in Helsinki. Clearly the qualifying period has begun and Chicago is an eligible course.

I believe Matt is running Chicago and I also believe Kevin Beatty of Waterloo is making his return to the marathon after an impressive 2:22 debut a few years back. good luck to the working stiffs.
