this is what i think the top 10 sr. race will be like.
1. Karley Rempel (pre-OFSAA champ) 2. Smith Caileigh (2nd at pre-OFSAA) 3. Victoria Hanna (3rd at pre-OFSAA, and EZ win at LOSSA) 4. Kirsten Stewart (YRAA cham, home turf at OFSAA) 5. Caileigh Glenn (5th at pre-OFSAA, home turf) 6. Katie O'Hagan (good runner, home turf) 7. Rachel Islam (8th last year and GBSSA champ) 8. Joanna Brown 9. Zeinab Baydoun (massy has good guys, now its girls too) 10. Katie Fleischer
People to look for would be; Heather Slinn, Jennifer Dowling-Medley (i think will be in top 8), Kristen Flanagan, Brayden Seneca, Kristie Lesage, Isabelle Kanz, Brigid Callaghan, Micha Gutmanis, Kayla Deighan (just Sacred Heart's team)

Basically just copied and pasted from the pre-ofsaa results. I think it'll be way different than that. Your biggest mistake is putting Joanna Brown 8th, I would say shes the favourite after coming 2nd last year with the same time as Jessica Parry. And you also say you think Jenn Dowling-Medley will be top 8? then why not put her 8th in your predictions?

calling joanna brown for anything less than 1st would be stupid. i know she's a triathlete but she stuck with parry the whole way last year.
dark horse: melissa jones. strong at eossaa, had mono earlier in the season, but has pushed through it. the mono is the biggest factor, i'd have no problem calling her top 10 if she hadn't been hit. she did come 12th at pre ofsaa, 24 seconds off first doing primarily swimming and biking

Fualds its not fair to rep your own kid we all know Rachel Faulds is a great athlete and it will be good Race I just think Alexandra is to strong and to smart to lose Rachel may give her a run thou it will be a good race to watch one thing is for sure Bay of quinte and cossa is going to be insane next year with all senior boys coming back as well and junior boys and girls being super strong

"Fualds its not fair to rep your own kid" ...... chill out, there was a smiley at the end! She would never post anything here and how is my suggesting that Alexandra will have a tough race next year any different from you saying she will win OFSAA and is "too strong" and "too smart" to lose? Alexandra is an awesome runner and I'd pick her for a medal position this year based on her races the past few weeks. Right now, I'll keep Rachel focused on this week though (and hope that she doesn't catch the bug going around my household until after Saturday) since there are some very fast midget girls racing at Boyd. That said, I am looking forward to seeing what will happen next year. It will be great for both of them to have intense competition in their own region instead of easy races leading up to OFSAA. I just wish Alexandra had come to a different high school in Trenton

(Two out of 10, and the winner--last year's runner-up, and with a 17:15 road 5k this fall-- in 8th! This is some poor prognosticating!)

It is interesting how the north is never taken seriously in these events. All the discussion centers around the GTA girls. I would suggest that Megan Yuan, who slipped under the radar and missed out on the OFSAA win in the Juniors by two seconds, gives notice to all that small schools and rural areas should be taken seriously. Even though Megan won a silver in the 1500 at OFSAA and a gold at Legion Nationals in the 3000, she is not known in this part of the world.
