All this talk of the teams that will be strong, but how will the top 10 play out individually?

Well, personally, I believe that the favorite has to be James Gosselin, so the pressure is all on him to perform. If the places of the top 3 remain constant from last year it will be a Windsor medal sweep, with Dal and Guelph claiming 2 of the remaining top 10 spots each. So that's 7 of the top 10 right there. I'd say that Guelph will get another in there, and that Mike Logue will also claim a spot. That leaves only one spot for the West, and depending on who is competing, it could be someone from either Manitoba or Alberta. Of course this is only specultion people can be injured, hit unexpected form etc. Anyway, that's my preseason prediction.

Braden Novakowksi will win CIS. If he stays healthy their is nobody in Canada who can stop him.

Braden Novakowski could have a good shot at a top 15 finish as long as he stays healthy. Should have a fair shot at CIS rookie if Guelph's guys don't show up at CIS. Some of the guys from Can west will definately be up there if they run. Like Nissen and Hunter and Kerr.

Nobody out west is gonna be fast enough to go top 10. Everybody is either injured, or coming back from injury. I mean, really, anybody besides Guelph and Windsor who gets a top 10 spot is lucky.

I douldn't expect any of the guelph rookies to make the top 7 and considerring AP was able to take 9th last year, I would expect braden to pull off a top 10. One of the few not going to a guelph or Windsor runner.

braden is lightyears ahead of AP..AP is good..but its not even close .. braden is way more developed than brandon young was in highschool.
and look how good brandon is now. I would say if braden doesnt get top 5 CIS than 5 other guys had a pretty good race that day..Not to put pressure on the kid but he should become one of those rare NCAA talents that stayed in canada and dominated not unlike DAVIDSON from york and now BC

OK... comparing AP to Braden, c'mon...AP is not that good, and I don't expect him to improve on last yrs performance...Braden is ten times the runner AP is and ever will be.

Braden will be a year younger than AP when he is a Rookie (the whole elimination of OAC thing) so it might be a bit tougher for him. Just because AP didn't have as much success as Braden in highschool doesn't mean Braden is any better now. Look at the results from last years Jr. Nats. Would Braden of beaten Woods? They are both great runners with neither one being heads above the other. Now if AP would olny give up the sissy triathalons....

"AP is not that good, and I don't expect him to improve on last yrs performance..."
where might I ask are you getting your info from. How on earth would you know how fit AP is and where his training is at right now. If you knew the actual kind of talent this kid has and would have if he only ran you wouldn't even be worthy of tying his shoes.

I believe he is basing his predictions of AP not being that good and improving on his talent...simply put someone like Braden has more talent in his little toe than AP will ever have...the reason for ppl disagreeing is simply that most of you posting are guelph guys.

AP had a good race last year at nats, but he isnt anything special and if he gave up tri's that wouldnt mean shit. plus he looks like a kid on steriods!

Well gents, Today's date is september the 16th, a little less than two months is a long time for things to change before the big race. As for comparing AP and braden, how bout this, instead of sitting on our computers arguing about who's the better, let's all let our feet do the talking. I believe the quote is, "actions speak far louder than words",

well - since there aren't any races today we can't
what else do you expect the guys to do when they aren't running, in therapy, or in school? why not argue about who will do better when we've obviously seen very little real results to compare?
by the way, when is the kites/mcinnes report out? there's something else to argue about!

Where are the coaches polls? Haven't they ususally started those by now. And the Kites/ McInnes Report is way over due. The suspense has me all wet in the pants.

well well.... funny posting I feel sorry for Braden and AP oh well they are young.
First off Windsor will have 4 guys in the top 7. Guelphs best guy will not be AP it will be Mike Thorson, Kyle Jones this year. What baotu the guys out west they got talent and even CHafe from out East.
Braden should beat AP, if he doesnt that sucks for him. From what I heard AP runs about twice a week his first ofsaa was grade 12 cross or somethign like that.
Braden could easily come in the top 10 and AP well dont be surprised if AP doesnt even better his place last year cause I wouldnt. Not to take anythign away form him but his focus seems to be in a different direction.

Everytime I see the word OFSAA...I cant help but think of Brad_OFSAA, when does he make his OUA debut?
why are people comparing AP to Braden. It should be Braden vs Brad.
