where are those kitest and mcinnis pre season predictions we've come to know and love... and expect???
racing starts in 12 days!!!!!!!!
my prediction: in the men's race, 1st and 2nd will undoubtedly go to Windsor and Guelph, everyone else is racing for the bronze. Half, or more, of the all-canadians will come from those 2 schools. It's gonna be one hell of a race to watch!

It is a long season (Cross Country), and to say Windsor and Guelph will "undoubtedly" go 1-2 may be wrong. Anything can happen, anything!

"Killen me", you are wrong! Who Cares? A lot of people care. Cross Country season is upon us and it is very exciting. Over analyzing and predicting where schools will finish is all in the fun! Relax already!

All I have to say is that after a disappointing 5th place finish last year, the Manitoba Bison's are gonna be ready to rock come November. Does anyone know if Robbie Nissen is back this year? If he is Alberta could also have a smoking fast team!

the same thing will happen as last year, i think we all know that. It will be close between us and guelph...but windsor will win for sure. the only way they won't is if a couple of our guys get hurt, which is unlikely

hahaha loosen up someone.
A cross country team cannot be built from one guy. In fact you can have three guys in the top ten (UBC 1998) and still not win CIS.

Seems to me that Windsor likes to count their chickens before they are hatched!

There are many good teams. Windsor, Geulph, Manitoba, Alberta, Dal, etc. But, Windsor has to be the favorite. They have very strong individuals with 4-5 people who have potential for top 14 finishes. However, I believe there may be some surprises this year with existing individuals running well (top 14 form) in some of the other schools other than Windsor. I guess we will have to wait till mid season and who has what!

I guess we will have to wait till mid season and see who has what! Guelph has gotta have 4-5 guys with top 14 potential as well. AP and Desy were all-canadians last year. This year Thorson is eligible and Jones won't have mono, so there's 4 guys right there... I think this year will be extremely close between Guelph and windsor, with the winner likely needing all five scorers in the top 14. TO actually pick a winner would be just a guess made with bias.

windsor will still have a good team but won't have a guaranteed (basically was) in ryan this year. i believe that's all his eligibility finally gone.
