As of right now, Nate and Willis are running a mile this weekend. Rumour has it that they want to run 3:54 to break sully's school and meyo meet record. Should be a good one. What makes nate's run so impressive is that he went out in about 1:55 through 800, and closed on Krum a lot in the last lap.

In that race, Nate just hung out at the back and then closed pretty dramatically in the last 250m. I got his last 200m split in 25-26. He definitely looked strong. The rabbit really messed things up. He was out in 26-27 and then hit the 400m in 57+, so right there they were completely off the fast pace. As a Canadian there, the highlight of the meet was Sully's run for what I believe is an indoor National Record. He looks so fit. I would guess he is 5-10lbs lighter that he has ever been. It would not surprise me if he could go 7:37-40, if he was dragged along a little faster. Sully's run was even more impressive as he walked down Lagat (aka:EPO). To me Lagat looked like a completely different runner. I have no idea where he is at with his training, but if he is fit he did not even attempt to go with the leaders (I found that interesting as he has ran 3:26).However, he did drag the 2nd pack around for most of the race. Willis can go much faster as well. All in all, it was a fantastic meet. Good job by Nate, Sully, Carmen Douma (she won the 1500m and closed very quickly). I am sure there were other good performances that I am missing.
