Actually, the definition of irony is a case in which the actual meaning is the opposite of the literal meaning. If you interpret the number 1313 as unlucky, then Perdita's unfortunate result is not ironic -- merely expected.
It would be ironic if an unlucky number brought her an unusual amount of GOOD luck.
