This article is the first I'd seen or heard about this program. Seems like an interesting idea, I guess time will tell how well it works.

the program has been running for about 2 years. at first progress was slow, i assume as the runners adapted to to oxygen...or lack of it. now a few runners have emerged. in the beginning there was a huge discussion about the program because nike was obviously spending shitloads of money on it and the athletes werent performing. many blamed salazars coaching, saying he was better at running than he will ever be as a coach. one question i have is does anyone know if galen rupp is currently living in the altitude house? he will attend protland state to run profesionally and will train with the oregon project athletes as he currently does, but i was not aware if he was actually going to be integrated into the program officially.
