I haven't got any updates on our recruits in a while, but as far as I know, Gareth Miller, Derek Snider and Pat Cook are all coming to cow town this fall on the mens side. There were a lot more maybe's but I think moults would know more on the subject.

From Canada West. Chad Friel (15:14) is going to the U of S this fall. Chris Belof tranfered to the U of S from the U of R, but has to sit out one year. 2nd year Dave Sorenson had taken 2:30 off his 10k PB to run 36:06. Finally Brian Pffeferle has come back to the huskies too this fall.

any new faces for u of t? i hear they picked up a pretty good highschool kid! Um, I'm going to U of T, and as the name suggests, I'd be happy to run 35. So, not me. I'd be surprised if Toronto picked up anyone, the largest city in Canada apparently isn't as much fun as London or Guelph. In seriousness, Guelph really cleaned up with Miller and Snyder.

Always happy to partake in the OU/ CIS XC speculation. Paper tigers are being formed all over the country as the optimism of August begins to fluorish! If so and so can drop 3 mins from his 10k, Johnnie McGraw is declared eligible, and Fatty Albert drops 30 lbs we might squeeze into the top 10...
U of T has several new arrivals on the Men's side.
In the now eligible category is former Warrior Jose Carvalho (3:54), along with former Lakehead runner Nate Jowett (4:02).
Rumor has it a HS guy from K-W who has run 4:05-7 is on the way as well.

Rumor has it a HS guy from K-W who has run 4:05-7 is on the way as well. That would be Etienne Bredin(1:59, 4:05, 8:45) and yes, he is going to U of T.

Shit, it's August 3rd so Brad has obviously made his decision about where is he going to school, that being Trent University so don't everyone get their panties in a bunch. He'll still be in the country and at the meets for us all to laugh at.

What is your problem? It was not his choice to be injured. Also you are off topic. The thread topic is "Biggest Recruits in the OUA". Why don't you worry about your upcoming season. Desy

Imma Observer nodda sheeza - its apparent you're not an elite runner yourself, otherwise you wouldn't have to come in here and bash other people in order to try and make yourself feel better. Show a little respect and grow up.

I'll I can say is I am glad I have guys like Greg and Kyle on my team then individuals like you. As for Guelph recruits, I am really excited to have Derek, Pat, Josh, Seamus and Gaerth joining the fold we were really blessed with our recruits last year who are all great runners and more importantly great people and I know the guys and girls this fall will be no different.

Amen to that Hutch... this is exaclly why there should not be any guest posting... you get dip shits like this IMMA guy who is hiding behind some name and who probably can't run to the fridge to get a beer, cracking on class act such as Moult, so he has had some tough luck with injuries, give him a break I know what kind of a person he is and how good of a runner he is and I can tell you this... if he didn't run into injury problems you wouldn't be worthy of tying up his spikes let alone being in the same race... so grow up and get the hell off this site.

actually, what is a shame is that moulton has had about a dozen stress fractures in the past 3-4 years. think about how hard it would be to get into shape when you can only train 2 months before having to take 6-8 weeks off. moulton is a good kid who has lots of potential.
anyways, i thought this thread was about recruits. i heard christie was going to simon fraser?

I'm not crying about it I'm just saying it's stupid how people love to come on here behind some name and make fun of people I would have said what I said regardless of who it was... And telling me to grow up for standing up for one of my friends, well sorry I guess next time I'll let unknown people make fun of my friends at will... and yes it is a shame about moult and his stress fractures... Hey moult have you thought about drinking more milk lol j/k bud...
