Finally the Beer Mile has come to Oshawa. On Saturday July 17, 2004 the innagural Oshawa Beer Mile will be held at the Civic track. Whether you are a season b-mile veteran or just new to the sport all are welcome. As of now the race is planned for 8:00pm. The civic is the best choice for a track as it is sheltered from the public and used less by walkers/joggers so you don't have much of a problem with people getting in the way and calling the police.
