Distance Runners, Just FYI, this is shaping up nicely for both the 10k and 1500m distances. Anyone interested please access the website below and contact either Chris Moulton, Cal Staples or Kevin Beatty. We are hoping this event will be a huge success. Here is the website: www.tnfnorth.com/hamilton10k.comGood Luck Cal

For the 10k on wednesday, if anyone has any drums or anything that makes lots of noise please feel free to bring it. We would like to provide as much energy as possible for this event.

Just curious as to why there is not a women's elite race being run at this event. If there is such a "lack of quality 10,000 meters on the Can-am circuit" why not allow women to benefit from this meet as well?

A Women's elite field was considered, but as with the 5k the numbers are just not there to put on a fast race. Last year we had two inquiries and this year we had one. I know Brad tried to put on an elite level women's 5k and I think he ran into the same issue. We are open to the idea, but at this point in time it is not feasible. Thanks, Cal

It's nice to know that there is a good field, but is there a list of names somewhere?

Well thanks a lot there CousinJeffrey, it's unfortunate no one ever taught me how to read in english at CEJEP... By the way, Reid, there are no CEJEPS in Ontario.

Catts, Thanks for the insight, they were provided with the correct info...instead of posting here, you should email the author of the article. I believe it was an oversight, due to the fact that he ran for EMU. I am sure only track people will notice. But, Gavin might not like it.

Ya, I suppose that would have been better, though there is no email listed for the author, and I figure Brad will be on the board. I assume the article has been released already, anyways.
