I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet but Jay Cantin had a PB of 3:41.84. He's got more left in the tank.

Heck ya!!
Good to see Cantin is on his way back. The boy has all the tools... I am sure there are atleast a couple of people who have been smoked by the boy! I would love to see him crack into the 3:30's!
Congrats to all the other guys who had big pb's... coldneck, mckenzie, etc

What happened with all those DNF's? Ziak, Bomba, Johnson, Kerr and a couple US runners.
Any reason exactly?

Kerr- rabbit for 2k, he won the steeple earlier Johnston- Fell off pace and he realized he wasn't going to PB, maybe a little tired from his 7:55 last weekend (?) Jeremy Redding- fell off pace and gave up Bomba- maybe tired from the 10k last weekend (?)

Awesome runs by CIS alums McKenzie, Coolsaet and O'brien-- all running big prs. Congrats lads.
Great to see Cantin run a pb after time off-- will he be the first non-Hood/ Sully Canadian to go sub 3:40 in the post-McGill Magic Carpet era? Since Agar in ?96 or 97 has any other Canuck gone sub-3:40?
