I thought the 1500s were incredible, every race was awesome, kids going to the front and laying it down and the depth was also pretty amazing, I think Woods and his teammate had the largest margin of victory at 3 seconds. The midget girls was impressive with 4 girls under 4:40. I was also very impressed with the Junior Boys winner Allan Brett, he just took it to the field and then was rolling on the 4 x 400 that night as well.
The 800s were pretty solid, a tough way for Aly to end her OFSAA career after an excellent run in the 1500 the day before. I think the entire top 5 from the sr girls 800 are all back so that could be a good field in the next year although I expect McKay to move up and take a shot at the Sr. Girls 3k record.
Alot of the top Seniors guys graduate so it will be intersting to see who steps up from the grade 11 guys like Fisco, Dekker, etc. and how they compete with the junior kids like Brett and Boorsma.
Finally it was neat to see how a ton of OFSAA legends floating around, I think with Woods and Lechebo having a shot at Anderson's 3k alot of high schoolers learned about Greg which probably very few especially outside of Hamilton even had a clue who he was and I think if you get the chance take advantage and meet some of the great runners of the past and learn about the history of the sport.
