Am I the only one thinking that Speed River's finishes were pretty weak in Hamilton?
I would have thought those guys would have been running faster... Maybe not...
Anyone with any thoughts on why Speed River hasn't been very speedy?

I may be wrong but I think maybe speed river is gearing up for the IMPORTANT part of the season, which would be nationals or some of the bigger meets later in the year. also I think that it was a lot of the speed river guys first race of the season in Hamilton. watch for them when it counts.

no, you're probably not the only one who thought our times were slow. Hopefully next time we'll live up to your standards. Thanks for the concern Interested Observer.

I am confused as to who you are refering to, Reid had his best season opening 5k and was 12 seconds faster then last year, based on that he could go 13:40 this year, that would be pretty good. Gillis PBed and a substantial one at that and ran 14:20 that seems seems solid to me for his first race of the season. Catton came back after running National halfs 10 days earlier, anyone can tell you that is a tough turn around. Cantin ran 1:52 by himself, Macaulay in his season debut went 1:56 and in the 3k all 4 of our guys PBed. Yeah it was a rough meet for the squad. Hopefully we will continue to struggle.

Don't forget Taylor who "shit the bed" in Ottawa this weekend. www.athletics.ca/article.asp?id=3439Good stuff there on Murphy as well as McInnis (sp) and mad props to Steve Drew. Surprised AC had anything up so soon.

A lot of useless stats.... Bottom Line: they got waxed by McKenzie. Outclassed. Rumour has it Speed River may be changing their name to "slow moving bed of water" geeze, whats your problem with the speed river guys? from my meetings with them, tehy seem to be good guys.

Interested Observer, so you delete all of your trash talking and now you're singing a different story. Its too bad other people quoted what you already said. Why the change of heart?

dude, are you bi-polar or something? you come on, ask questions about the speed river guys, get reasonable answers, come back attacking them, get a riled response, then delete your aggressive post saying there was some confusion.

I guess I'm just feeling bad I made "coldneck" cry.
FYI - I have no movement in my left leg - not bi-polar...

you didn't hurt my feelings or make me cry, just pissed me off a bit that you were trying to piss me off like a coward.
I'll give you until tomorrow to come clean on the board or else its gonna look bad on the whole team.
I would like to take this time and congratulate myself on my fiftieth post. 2 stars baby, and I'm a Junior Member!
