London Distance Festival, June 19th

I hope that many of you can make it down to London on Saturday June 19th for the 1st Annual Runners' Choice London Distance Festival. This unique event will offer close to $5,000 worth of cash prizes, merchandise, and draw prizes between the following events:

Festival begins at 3:00pm, in this order
Bantam 800m (born 1991 or later)
George Goulding Memorial 5,000m Racewalk

Open 800m
Art Obokata Memorial Masters (40+) 5,000m

Open 1,500m

Open 5,000m

Awards Ceremonies

Men's and women's sections will be run separately; heets will be run fast to slow. Prize money is $150, $100, $50 for all events (except the Bantam 800m), along with a $100 bonus to the winner of each event if they meet a performance standard.

Location: Regina Mundi Catholic College (rubberized track)

There will be free on-site massage therapy and chiropractic treatment. Other unique features include a retro-styled race t-shirt (no sponsor logos) and a commemorative race booklet.
