Some of those times seem pretty fast. Is that a downhill course, or are Ontarians just really fit right now?

Starts near the corner of Eglinton and Yonge and goes basically point to point down to the lake. Winds are generally prevailing at your back. Although I think it was raining pretty hard that day and I don't know what that did to the times.

It is certainly a very fast course as it is downhill the whole way. It's a nice gentle grade so as not to beat up the legs too much.
Usually there is a bit of a headwind coming off the water, but this year there was a significant tailwind, hence the quick as spit times.
