Who is Alex Genest?

He ran at World Youths last year in Sherbrooke. He ran 5:51 for the 2k steeple. Im not entirely sure on his placing. Other than that I havent heard too much about him.

Alex Genest is from Québec and trains with énergie track club in Québec(if I'm right). This kid (1986, like Kristjan mentioned) had a break throught season season last summer when he placed 6th at World Youth running 5:51 for 2K steeple. He's a very hard worker and I'm not surprised he ran 8:59.09. We'll definitely hear about this kid in the futur
