Obviously this is the best distance meet in North America the fields are stacked, from the mens 5k with Mottram, Lagat, Cragg, Kennedy, etc to the mens 1500 with Ritz, Jefferson, Beryhill,Wilson to the womens 5k Georgie Clarke, Fleshman, Flanagan, etc. But check out the womens invitational 1500 or should I say the Canadian National Womens 1500, 7 Canadians should be quite a race. 1 1062 Arianna Lambie Stanford 2 104 Meskerem Legesse Oliveira Track R 3 301 Courtney Babcock Canada 4 2951 Melissa McBain U C L A 5 3965 Malindi Elmore Asics 6 3578 Marlies Overbeeke Virginia Tec 7 3252 Hilary Edmondson Wisconsin 8 1308 Courtney Inman Valley Royal 9 3506 Anna Brzezinska Team Hipp 10 3126 Lauren King Notre Dame 11 970 Carrie Messner Asics 12 2220 Korene Hinds Unattached 13 303 Nathalie Cole Canada 14 4768 Jessica Eldridge Oklahoma 15 302 Vicky Lynch-Pounds Canada 16 3029 Johanna Nilsson Northern Ari 17 324 Nicole Teter Nike vm.mtsac.edu/relays/2004/index.html

Actually, Hilary Edmondson won't be racing in the Elite 1500m on Sunday, since she has to leave with her team on Saturday night already. She'll be racing the fast section of the University 1500m sections on Saturday.

Also Henok Lechebo is the Open Men's 5k which is basically the 3rd section of the 5k but due to the depth of the fields, there are still sub 14 guys in his section. Any one have any guess on his time? I think sub 14:25.

Unofficial 13:26 for Paul Morrison in the 5k, that gives him an Olympic B so if he gets an A 13:21.5 he is going to Athens.

Wow. These are incredible times. Makes you wonder if Shalane would have been right with Kim Smith during the indoor season had she raced.
