Council has decided to return to the previous format of the World Cross Country Championships from 2007. The Short Races will be dropped from the programme. The Men’s and Women’s Long Race with nine competing and six scoring athletes per team and the Junior Men’s and Women’s events with six competing and 4 scoring athletes per team will be maintained.
What will AC do as far as funding a team? Will they fund all 18 senior men and women? Will they choose the team straight from Nats in December?
